CIBEL Co-Director Associate Professor Weihuan Zhou was invited to attend the World Economic Forum's Annual Meeting of the Global Future Councils from 15-17 October in Dubai. He contributed insights in a series of working sessions concerning international trade and investment, geopolitical challenges, industrial policy, critical minerals and green transition, trade and technologies.
The Annual Meeting of the Global Future Councils 2024 brought together the world's foremost knowledge network. Over 500 experts and leaders from academia, business, government, international organisations and civil society shared insights on emerging trends relating to key global issues such as artificial intelligence, geopolitics, energy green transition, jobs and growth, and clean air.
