Panel 1 of the 2023 Global Network Conference addressed some of the latest developments in economic cooperation at regional and global levels as well as major challenges for such cooperation, reflecting on the trend of declining multilateralism and growing economic fragmentation.
Speakers included Mr Simon Lester; China Trade Monitor, Assistant Professor Stefanie Schacherer; Singapore Management University (SMU), Associate Professor Wei Yin; Southwest University of Political Science and Law, and Associate Professor Alexandr Svetlicinii; University of Macau. Professor Lisa Toohey of University of Newcastle moderated the session and Associate Professor Weihuan Zhou of UNSW Law & Justice provided Opening Remarks.
